Advisory Council - 2021 Nominations
The Illinois Small Business Development Center at
the Starved Rock Country Alliance

The Illinois SBDC at the Starved Rock Country Alliance seeks 25 - 35 individuals to advise, share, learn, and plan the next stages of the Starved Rock Country Alliance and its Small Business Development Center.
Members are asked to:
Participate in four quarterly [Zoom] advisory meetings in 2021.
Dates are as follows:

August 17th - 2-4 pm - Perspective Sharing: Small Business and Entrepreneurship

November 11th - 2-4 pm - Perspective Sharing: Holiday Shopping - Activities, Events, and Opportunities
Perfect candidates are representatives who are:
-
Innovative self-starters - Passionate about regional entrepreneurial development and economic progress

Tenacious in collaboration, growth, and inclusivity

Comfortable using their full voice in acting as communicators of internal and external opportunities for regional growth

hold a strong ethical and professional background or be passionate about building one
As an Advisory Council Member, our hope is for members to:

actively participate in the four quarterly 2-hour meetings
-
have strong communication and listening skills in order to share your perspective grow resources and impact through feedback and planning

take an active role in sharing opportunities within your local network
-
support and enable growth and reach of the Starved Rock Country Alliance and the IL SBDC at the SRCA, providing your perspectives and quality thought centric to regional growth.
